By purchasing a membership, class package, or attending classes at The Pilates Perspective, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Privacy
Use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information. By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to our Privacy Policy.
2. Booking Policy
Class reservation windows are determined by purchase type:

Unlimited Memberships: May book up to 21 days in advance

4-, 8-, and 12-Class Memberships: May book up to 14 days in advance

Class Packages & Drop-Ins: May book up to 7 days in advance
To secure a reservation, clients must:

Maintain an active membership or valid class credits
-
Keep a valid credit card on file
Bookings that do not meet these requirements will not be confirmed.
3. Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made through the studio app or website.
If necessary, you may call the studio; however, the front desk is not always staffed. Cancellation requests via social media or directly to instructors will not be honored.
Cancellations must be made at least 8 hours prior to the scheduled class time.
Late Cancellations (less than 8 hours)

Class credit users: Credit will be forfeited

Membership holders: $15 late cancellation fee
This policy ensures fair access to classes for all clients.
4. No-Show Policy
If you do not attend a scheduled class and fail to cancel:

Class credit users: Credit will be forfeited
-
Unlimited membership holders: $18 no-show fee
No-shows prevent other clients from booking and impact availability.
5. Waitlist Policy
Clients are responsible for monitoring their waitlist status.
When a space becomes available:

The first client on the waitlist will be automatically enrolled
-
An automated confirmation notification will be sent
Once added from the waitlist, you are fully booked and subject to:

The 8-hour cancellation window
-
Applicable late cancel or no-show fees
If you are on multiple waitlists, please monitor your schedule carefully to avoid unintended bookings.
6. Membership Terms
Billing & Authorization
By purchasing a membership, you authorize The Pilates Perspective LLC to automatically charge the debit or credit card on file on a recurring monthly basis.

Charges will not exceed the agreed-upon membership rate.

Additional charges may apply in accordance with Cancellation and No-Show Policies.

You are responsible for maintaining valid and up-to-date payment information.
Commitment & Renewal

Memberships require either a 3- or 12-month commitment, depending on the selected plan.
-
Memberships may not be canceled prior to completion of the commitment term.
-
After the commitment period, memberships continue month-to-month.
-
A 30-day written cancellation notice is required.
-
Memberships automatically renew until properly canceled.
Fees paid are non-refundable and will not be prorated. Access remains active through the end of the billing cycle.
Membership Freeze Policy
We understand that injuries, medical situations, or extended travel can occasionally interrupt your routine. To support you during those times while honoring your commitment, we offer a structured freeze option.

Freeze requests must be submitted in writing via email prior to the requested start date.

Freezes are not retroactive.
-
1 freeze per calendar year is permitted.
-
A minimum freeze period of 30 days is required.
-
Memberships may be frozen for up to 90 days per calendar year.
-
During a freeze, billing is paused and the commitment period will be extended by the length of the freeze.

Class access and booking privileges are suspended during the freeze period.
Short-term scheduling conflicts, missed classes, or temporary changes in routine do not qualify for freezes.
The Pilates Perspective reserves the right to request medical documentation when applicable.
Usage & Benefits

Unused class credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over.
-
Memberships are non-transferable and may not be shared.
-
Eligible memberships may include designated perks such as extended booking windows, guest passes, or mat class access.

Benefits are subject to change.
7. Class Packages & Single Classes

All class packages and single class purchases are final sale.
-
Credits expire according to the timeframe stated at purchase.
-
Expired credits will not be extended, transferred, or refunded.

A valid credit card must remain on file.
-
We do not sell or share payment information.
8. Age Requirements

Clients must be at least 18 years old to independently enroll in memberships or classes.
-
Participants must be at least 16 years old to attend classes.
-
Individuals under 18 must be registered in person with a parent or legal guardian present.
Age requirements for workshops or special events may vary at the studio’s discretion.
9. Retail Return Policy
Memberships and class credits are final sale and non-refundable.
Retail purchases:

Returns accepted within 7 days for full refund
-
Returns accepted within 30 days for store credit
-
Items must be unused, unworn, and with original tags attached
-
No returns after 30 days
-
Intimate items are final sale
10. Billing Disputes & Chargebacks
Billing concerns must be reported within 30 days of the transaction date by contacting the studio directly.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting the studio to resolve the matter may result in:

Immediate suspension of your account
-
Revocation of booking privileges
-
Responsibility for associated processing or legal fees
We reserve the right to pursue collection of unpaid balances to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Studio Conduct Policy
The Pilates Perspective is committed to maintaining a respectful and welcoming environment.
By attending classes, you agree to:

Treat staff and fellow clients with respect

Follow instructor guidance and safety protocols
-
Arrive on time and adhere to studio policies
-
Maintain appropriate hygiene and attire
Disruptive behavior, harassment, unsafe conduct, or refusal to follow policies may result in removal from class or termination of services without refund.
The Pilates Perspective reserves the right to refuse service.
12. Pregnancy Policy
Clients who are pregnant or postpartum should consult a licensed medical provider prior to participation.
By attending class while pregnant, you acknowledge:

You have received medical clearance

You assume full responsibility for participation

You will inform your instructor prior to class
The studio reserves the right to request medical clearance if safety concerns arise.
13. Studio Participation & Assumption of Risk
Participation in Pilates and fitness classes involves inherent risks.
By attending classes or using studio equipment, you:

Represent that you are medically able to participate

Assume full responsibility for injuries sustained
-
Waive and release The Pilates Perspective LLC, its owners, employees, and affiliates from liability
If staff believe you may be at physical risk, we reserve the right to require medical clearance.
Music played during classes may contain explicit language.
14. Media Release
By attending classes or events, you consent to being photographed or recorded for marketing or promotional purposes.
If you prefer not to appear in media, you must notify the studio in writing prior to participation.
15. Privacy Policy
We collect personal information voluntarily provided, including name, contact information, and payment details.
Information is used to:

Process transactions

Manage accounts

Communicate with clients

Improve services
We do not sell personal information and use industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
Clients are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials.
16. ADA & Accessibility
We are committed to providing an inclusive environment.
Clients requiring reasonable accommodations are encouraged to contact the studio in advance. We will make reasonable efforts to provide appropriate modifications where feasible.
17. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, logos, and materials are the property of The Pilates Perspective and may not be copied or reproduced without written consent.
18. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Pilates Perspective LLC shall not be liable for:

Errors or omissions on the website

Personal injury or property damage

Unauthorized access to personal information

Service interruptions
-
Third-party conduct
Use of our website and facilities is at your own risk.
19. Force Majeure
The Pilates Perspective shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government mandates, public health emergencies, severe weather, power outages, or instructor illness.
In such cases, services may be modified, suspended, or canceled without liability.
20. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts within Missouri.
21. Electronic Communications & Consent
By creating an account, booking services, purchasing memberships, or signing agreements electronically, you consent to receive communications from The Pilates Perspective electronically.
You agree that electronic records, agreements, waivers, and signatures are legally binding and have the same force and effect as physical documents and handwritten signatures.
22. Modifications
The Pilates Perspective reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the most current version.
